Child Safety

Every child safe, welcome and heard

Pearl Coast Gymnastics Club is a safe, welcoming place for every child. Here is how we look after your child, and how to raise a concern if you ever need to.

Our commitment

A public promise to the children in our care

Child Safety Commitment Statement

Pearl Coast Gymnastics Club is committed to the safety, well-being, participation and empowerment of all children and young people accessing our programs and services, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children and adults with disability.

We have a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse. All allegations, disclosures and concerns will be treated seriously and responded to immediately, consistent with our policies and procedures.

We support the right of every child and young person to feel and be safe, and to be confident to raise concerns if they feel unsafe or if their needs are not being met.

For kids and teens

Your safety is the most important thing to us

We want every child and young person at our club to feel safe, welcome and included, no matter who you are, where you come from, or what you can do.

We do not allow anyone to hurt, bully or make children feel unsafe. You can always speak up if something worries you or does not feel right. We will listen and help you.
